A new project aims to develop a model for using groundwater to heat and cool buildings while the water is at the same time cleansed of pollutants that pose a risk to drinking water.
The exchange of CO2 and oxygen between the atmosphere and the groundwater is an important part of the water cycle. But no one knows how climate change affects groundwater quality. A new research project is intended to change that.
